Hi all,

As I’ve already told y’all in my last post, my hosting is about to expire. After a good hard think I’ve decided not to renew my hosting. I simply put too little time into my graphics and especially this site to spend that much money on it.

I’m still looking into what I’ll do with my graphics next. So far I’m between putting up a free blog or simply posting them on my twitter. There’ll be a decision made on that soon so keep an eye out if you want to keep following me

Feel free to contact me through twitter; @spinningcloser I’ll also be likely to keep you all updated on any future graphics on there.

Let me just start of with saying; thanks for still visiting this site. Not much has been going on yet some of you still pass by every now and again to check it out. This update is for you!

I’ve not done a whole lot of graphicing since the last update. Just the odd piece every now and again and then a lot of them haven’t even been Westlife related. That doesn’t mean I don’t still enjoy putting those lads into my Photoshop and play around with them. I do, I absolutely do!

I don’t often do graphics just for the sake of doing graphics anymore though. I’d like there to be some kind of purpose for my work rather than just pieces sitting here on my website. The odd website layout, a twitter or facebook header/background and lately I’ve found that making banners that go with fanfictions really get me going.

Fanfics… Yeah, I do love me a good story. I’ve advertised www.neverland-fics.blogspot.com on here before and I’m not afraid to do it again. I love that place! Go check it out and enjoy the layout while you’re at it. It’s a creation I’ve done at the beginning of this year and up till today I still feel proud opening the site and looking at it. I quite like how it turned out.

And then, while you’re at it, go read some of them magnificent stories on there. You won’t regret, I promis you!

So, fanfictions. Yeah, they do inspire me. I’ve done a couple of headers for them which I love to share with you all. If you click on the smaller image, the full version will open

First of; This piece for a Bailey-fanfic. It’s a Shane related story and I really went all out with the theme of the story;

Then there’s Kara. These fics aren’t up on Neverland just yet but they will be soon. I’ve had the pleasure of a sneak peek and boy do I love them! You’re gonna want to read them!

I’ve very much enjoyed making these pieces and I’m pretty sure I’ll do some more in the future

Then there’s this other very exciting thing I’m currently working on. My dear girl Verena from www.jodialbertdaily.net has asked me to do a new layout for her. I can’t show you anything yet as we’re still in the process of creating and getting it perfect but so far, I’m loving what we’ve come up with. It’s gonna look absolutely fab, I’m sure of it! Once it’s up, I’ll let you all know so keep your eyes peeled

So, that’s it for my update.

One last thing I’d like to share with you all. Somewhere during the summer I need to prolong my hosting but I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s getting to expensive for me to keep this site running at my current host. I’m not sure what to do yet, I’m still looking into other hosts, cheaper ones or maybe even free hosting somewhere. I’d love to keep putting my graphics out there as it’s still something I love to do but I’m just not sure in which form to do so. If any of my loyal visitors has any thoughts on this, tips on decent priced hosting or good experiences with free hosting somewhere, please do let me know! (just put a message up on the tag or drop me an email)

What?! No way! Another update?!

Yeah, your eyes are not betraying you. Indeed there is another update. Just a lil one though. A Shane signature and matching facebook-cover image this time round. Them Facebook-covers, I do them on purpose. I’ve come to learn that sometimes people like to use my graphics as a cover-image but in doing so, usually the size is all off which makes them weirdly stretched. So now I just alter the graphics slightly as I go so they can easily be used Feel free to save them to your computer and then upload them on Facebook. Just don’t delete the credit.

Hii all,

Once again, it’s been too long since the last update. Pah…

Photoshop isn’t my friend these days, sadly. But today, I have to admit, it has been rather good. I’ve been reading some tutorials, trying some things out and a couple of graphics came from them. All Mark, all with own taken pictures, all for you to enjoy :p All graphics are made out of two concepts. One started out as a signature and has grown into a signature/icon-set, wallpaper and cover image for Facebook. The other started out as a wallpaper and has ended up being just that plus a cover image for Facebook. You can check them all out in the gallery. On here I’ll just post one wallpaper to give you an idea of what they turned out.

Enjoy, feel free to leave comments and yeah, I will try to do graphics of the other lads aswell but well… With my pace of updating, prepare to have to wait haha

I’m well aware I suck at updating lately. I don’t open Photoshop very often and when I do, more often than not, it turns out blank. So not many graphicing going on and also nothing much to update.

But with some spare time and crappy weather I finally got around to an update. And I made it a massive one aswell. Not only will I add some new graphics with this post, I also changed the entire layout of the site Hope you all like it as much as I do! Totally different from the other one, I needed the change.

I’ve also added a new Mark signature and a group cover picture that could be used for Facebook. Both of them are done with tourpictures of the Farewell tour that I took myself. <3

As usual, feel free to use but don’t claim they’re made by you. Credit where credit’s due

I’ll try to do another update soon, there’s some more tourpictures that really want to be put in graphics so keep an eye out on the site.

Over the past two weeks, traffic on my site really upped! Seems like there’s some of you out there recommending others to have a look at my site <3 Thanks so much for everyone that’s done that. Love you all!

Not only the amount of views upped, I also got a couple of requests over the weekend. I usually love to do graphics on request, especially when I’m running out of inspiration coz getting pictures I wouldn’t have choosen myself can really get the creativity flowing.

Over the weekend I’ve done a header and a twitterbackground for shanefilan.info and also a twitterbackground for @team__westlife You can find them under ‘Requests’.

If you have a request to make yourself, please remember I can’t do pretty graphics with tiny pictures nor can I work with pictures that are overly tagged. If you want me to make something with pictures that don’t belong to you, please ask the person that owns them for permission first. Not everyone likes to see their pictures used.

Heeey all,

Earlier this week Jessica, who runs KianEganDaily.com, send out a message on twitter asking for Kian graphics she could put up on her website. There had been a few pictures out there that I wanted to use in graphics, especially the ones from the OK-shoot with Koa, so I took on the challenge to create some graphics for her. After spending some time in Photoshop, I can now present you;

I also took the time to clean out the recent work-section. This doesn’t mean these graphics have completely dissapeared. You can still find them when you click the gallery.

Heyaa,

So as I went on I Believe I Can Fly, a pretty fabulous *coughs* graphics and writing forum, I found a challenge that Tifanny, one of the members on there, thought of. It consists of following a tutorial and come up with your own graphic while doing that. It seemed like the perfect opportunity to finally use the most recent pictures of Shane, I think they were taken at horse-races? Not sure, westlife.gr had them up anyways and I’ve been meaning to create something with them a while now.

Result? A wallpaper

Browsing around trough some graphic-forums I came across some lovely textures that I had to do some icons with. Choice of picture was easy this time, Mark’s wonderfull new profile picture for twitter. What a beauty!

For a long time I’ve been meaning to sort out my old graphics and see what’s decent enough to be uploaded to the site. I’ve been  making graphics for years and years now so I’ve build up quite the collection and I just uploaded nearly 100 older graphics. Signatures, icons, wallpapers of all the ‘lifers, you name it.

Not all of them are that good (although I did with-hold the worst of worst lol) but there’s some decent enough things with them I do like to think that over the years I’ve developed my graphicing-skills though, some of it was really cringe-worthy.
